The AEEDE founder members have developed some principles and standards of quality for Spanish Business Management Schools and a procedure for checking that they are observed. These criteria are based on internationally accepted standards for Business School accreditation processes.
These principles and standards ensure that the Schools have a common aim: the training of students who are better prepared for their professional career in the framework of the company.
The minimum principles and standards refer to the following aspects:
- Programme design and planning.
- Faculty composition (qualifications, full or part time, etc.), recruitment and development, and description of the teaching and research activities that lecturers have to do.
- Processes developed by the Centre, such as planning, student admission and research, student assessment regimes, facilities for graduate job search, and the Schools’ relations with the business community.
- Infrastructure and resource materials necessary for developing a School’s own activities.
