The University of Deusto is a pioneer institution in training business leaders and has offered studies in Business Administration since 1916 at the Bilbao Campus (La Comercial) and since 1956 in San Sebastian (ESTE). Management training programmes were begun in 1963 and more recently, in 2008, efforts were centered on the new executive and in-company training programmes, centralising all these studies at Deusto Business School.
Deusto Business School is distinctive for a marked practical approach in its programmes, its close relationship with the corporate world and a firm commitment to internationalisation. DBS participates in a large number of international networks, student and lecturer exchanges, and joint programmes with European and American universities.
Programmes such as the EIBM (Master’s in European & International Business Management), the MMBA (Multinational MBA), the EMBA (Executive MBA) or the Im2 (International Master’s in Innovation Management) are the results of this close international cooperation.
The EIBM, organised jointly with Audencia (Nantes Management School in France) and Bradford School of Management in the UK, is divided into three academic periods taught at each of the schools in Spanish, French and English.

In addition to the academic modules taught in Bilbao, the EMBA features intensive study periods at INSEAD (Fontainebleau) and at the Carroll School of Management (Boston College) in Boston.
The Im2, a pioneer experience in the field of executive study, consists of 7 modules taught in Bilbao, Florence (Italy) and the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom).
The academic programmes include different options according to the duration, approach and specialisation in each of the masters and studies taught.
