UPF Barcelona School of Management

The UPF Barcelona School of Management is a school of masters, postgraduate and specialisation courses that was born in 1993 with the aim of strengthening the link between university and business and providing professional postgraduate training. It was created as a non-profit private foundation under the name of Continuing Education Institute Foundation and the result of collaboration between Pompeu Fabra University and a group of companies including Abertis, Bayer, BBVA, Capgemini, Cuatrecasas Foundation, Deloitte, Gas Natural-Fenosa Foundation, Garrigues Foundation, KPMG, PWC or Telefónica, among others.

In order to connect higher education with the business and social fabric and to train professionals capable of transforming themselves and their environment UPF Barcelona School of Management offers management training (Business Administration and Management, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Public Management, Marketing, Human Resources) giving continuity to the different disciplines covered by Pompeu Fabra University (Communication Sciences, Social Sciences, Health Sciences).

The training programs are taught in person and remotely, including the Masters of Science, Masters of Arts, MBA, University and own Masters and executive education. Like Pompeu Fabra University, UPF Barcelona School of Management has a clear international vocation that is reflected both in the percentage of foreign students, which reaches 40% in university master programs, as well as in international double degree agreements and exchange with universities all over the world.

All postgraduate studies at UPF Barcelona School of Management have a teaching team made up of professors from Pompeu Fabra University, academically recognised by the main international rankings in teaching and research (1st Spanish university, 140 worldwide and 60 at European level in the Times Higher Education Rankings (2018), 17th best university in the world among those under 50 in the Times Higher Education young universities Rankings (2017) and 1st best European university according to U-Multirank 2017-2018) and by professionals of prestigious companies and public institutions. A balance between academics and professionals that allows a real and constant enrichment between university and business.
